The question I hear a lot and ask at this time of year is, “What do you want for Christmas?” It is typically a question that has to do with Christ-mas shopping. But I think during this Advent season, we need to answer that question at a deeper level. So, here’s my wish list: I wish for happiness for my children and their families. I wish that those searching for purpose and meaning in life will find it. I wish for those who are imprisoned by their fears or addictions to receive freedom. I wish for reconciliation for those who are estranged from loved ones. I wish for peace on earth.
