The St. Philip’s Day School has been in existence for many years and was originally started in the late 1960’s Most of our teachers have been with the school for a number of years and love the little children. In addition to the regular curriculum, the Day School has a number of extra really fun activities planned throughout the year. There is always a super fun “Splash Day” in the spring where splash pools and water toys provide a morning of water play and fun.
A visit from a dentist, a fire truck, policeman, photographer with pony, etc. are some of the highlights. And, there are opportunities for the parents to meet with each other and with the teachers.
A Day School Art Show provides an opportunity for the children to display some of the art and craft projects they have done throughout the school year. The Spring Music Program takes place on the last class day of the school year. On that day, children perform a number of songs for the Day School families and church staff.
The school year ends with the Day School Family Picnic where families are invited to get together at one of the local parks for a picnic and morning of fun. That is also when the teachers and staff offer a tearful goodbye to the Pre-K Students that will be moving on kindergarten.
Our Day School is currently accepting registration for the fall semester and has four small classes:
